Join the discussion on how India can reduce child mortality, improve maternal health and empower women

Mera India Bridge the Gap is proud to have two of the literary finalists, Pani and Nupur, lead a discussion within the UN Millennium Campaigns iMDG online community of youth activists at www.asiapacific.endpoverty2015.org/imdg.
Currently the discussion is just beginning but already ideas on the target problem areas as they relate to Gender Empowerment, Reducing Child Mortality, and Improving Maternal Health are being shared in addition to possible practical projects to address those areas.
Please join the community and the discussion, and share your thoughts on how India can strengthen the effort in reaching the MDG targets by 2015. Look under 'India' to find the discussion but also check out what else is happening and start your own discussions on MDG topics that interest you.

  2. hi,iam tharun from telangana i want to participate on imdg discussion .i have some ideas to reach india as super power in the world. first we have to think about the villages i think the correct information is not reaching to our villages and we are always blaming the politicians on politics people should take responsibility of our society by increasing the govt.health care centres through out the country with less cost and to educate the people we have to establish leaning centres to reduce the pollution, gdp growth, budget, corruption, politics to the people in cites and villages.in villages we have to establish high fi schools and we have to educate old female&male farmers to increase the production & to get the genuine rates for their production.we have to explain the people how to increase our economy.we have to decrease racial discrimination&caste differences in our people. we have to encourage inter caste marraiges.we need to grow in both industrial&agricutural factors.then it is easy to achieve vision 20-20.for all these we need help of government.but i think above 50% politicians are corrupted. if the budget is 1lakh crore in that 90,000crore are taking by our genuine polticians, officers, employees, contractors.this is the main factor for the un development of our country.
