How to send in your entries

The last date for submission of entries is fast approaching. Those of you who are still contemplating joining the contest should register. And for those of you who are getting ready with your entries here are is an important announcement:
•The essay can be sent by ordinary post or email

•The pictorial strip should be sent along with a summary of 100 words on a CD, with your name and title of entry on the cover, or by post in an envelope not larger than A3 (11" x 16"). We have been asked about what should be the maximum number of photos or illustrations. We hesitate to put a number for we do not want to limit your style and have been saying do not to make the envelope bulky, keeping it to a few pages. If you want a cap on the number of images, it would be not more than 20. It can certainly be less. On the CD make sure the images are in 300 dpi (high resolution images in JPEG, TIFF or PSD format). If you send your entry on a CD and if it is selected, you would be required to hand over the original illustrations and photos to the organisers.

•The film along with a summary of 100 words is to be submitted on a CD in MPEG4 or .avi format with your name and title of entry on the cover. Please use a high end mobile camera for a reasonable technical quality.

The score sheet should accompany the entry and carry your name.

Also to be included is proof of age attested by a senior government official or the head of your institute if you are studying, and a signed statement by you stating that the entry is your own original work.

We eagerly await your entries!
